Liora is committed to making music creation accessible to people with disabilities. This statement describes the conformance level we target, the known gaps, and how to contact us if you encounter a barrier.
Standards
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA for the Liora web app and PWA, in line with:
- The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), effective 28 June 2025.
- The EN 301 549 technical standard.
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
- The Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (5758-1998), §IS 5568.
Where we conform
- All interactive elements have visible focus styles.
- All forms have programmatic labels and associations.
- Color contrast meets AA throughout the marketing site, the app shell and the studio.
- The app is fully keyboard-navigable (Tab, Shift-Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys).
- Screen-reader testing is performed against VoiceOver (macOS / iOS) and NVDA (Windows) on each release.
- Hebrew and Arabic interfaces flip to right-to-left correctly with proper bidirectional text handling.
- Audio players expose standard
<audio>controls; lyrics view supports text-zoom up to 200% without horizontal scroll. - Animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
- Real-time waveform visualisations have no equivalent text representation. We provide a numeric duration and section markers as fallback.
- The studio's piano-roll view is not yet keyboard-operable end-to-end. We are tracking this as a P1 issue and aim to resolve by Q3 2026.
- Some marketplace voice samples lack textual descriptions. We are adding these as voices are reviewed.
Alternative formats
If a feature is not accessible to you, contact us at [email protected] and we will:
- Offer the same outcome through a different path (often by email or a synchronous support call).
- Track the gap and prioritise a fix in our next sprint.
- If the gap is structural, we will be transparent about the timeline.
Contact and complaints
- [email protected] — for any accessibility issue, request, or feedback.
- We acknowledge within 1 business day and substantively respond within 7 days.
- EU users may also escalate to the national accessibility enforcement body in their Member State.
