The economics of the voice marketplace

Most marketplaces in the AI space pay creators between 0% and 30%. We pay artists 70% of every per-track license fee for the use of their voice in the marketplace.

Why? Two reasons. First, we believe artists are partners, not data sources. The voices they license are them — their craft, their identity, their reputation. Second, the unit economics work. Generation cost is low and stable. Customer acquisition is the hard part, not paying creators.

Payouts are monthly via Stripe Connect. Statements are itemized per track and per usage. Artists can pause or withdraw their voice from the marketplace at any time. We require KYC (via Persona) to prevent impersonation and to make payouts compliant.
